Dr. Sylvester Outley:

A Board of Directors governs SELF, Inc., with Sylvester Outley, PhD as the President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Outley received his Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and his PhD from Union Institute. He has over 40 years of professional counseling with behaviorally challenged people and his life serves as an inspiration to them. Among many awards, he has been selected by the Mayor's Drug and Alcohol Executive Commission to receive the "Making a Difference Award" as one of the tireless workers who labors daily to help combat the problems of substance abuse in the City of Philadelphia.

Erica N. Brown and Nathaniel Robinson:

Erica N. Brown, MBA, V.P. & Chief Operating Officer and Nathaniel Robinson, MHS, MS, V.P. & Chief Program Officer, are responsible for administering the agency programs. Ms. Brown received her BA in Psychology from Wesley College and MBA from the University of Phoenix. She has held positions of increasing responsibility at SELF, Inc. and combines expertise in both the program and administrative sides of the agency. Mr. Robinson received his BA from Eastern University, MHS from Lincoln University, and MS from Eastern University in Nonprofit Management. He has also held positions of increasing responsibility at SELF, Inc. since October 1990. He is very knowledgeable about drug and alcohol treatment, case management, community development and residential programming.
